On the 7th of May, Stratford College held an informative and educational evening, organized kindly by the Parents association, dedicated to highlighting different career options and their benefits for third - sixth years.

Culture Day 2025, was a celebration of diversity and heritage where students and staff embraced other cultures and their own. On Wednesday 7th May, the Student Council and staff opened the hall's doors to workshops with students enjoying drumming workshops to celebrate 'Drum Beats from around the World' and Capoeira Dancing.

What a great start to Stratford's Wellbeing Week, than kicking off with our annual school walk. Students walked 12.7 km in glorious sunshine along the Dodder greenway, stopping off for lunch and to enjoy the sights.

Five TY teams competed in the SciFest@College competition in TUD Grangegorman on Friday, 2nd May. They presented their projects to a number of TUD lecturers. Congratulations to Alexander, Davi and Hao Wen who won a "highly commended" award for their 'Save the world' project! Congratulations to Paddy who won the SciFest quiz on the day!

On Monday, 5th May a number of the TY boys climbed Croagh Patrick as part of the Boys to Men programme. Omri, in TY, explained further details at the TY Graduation on Tuesday, 13th May.

TY students went to Amsterdam on the 27th of April until 29th of April. On the first day some of us hired bikes and took a tour across the city while some students opted for a walking tour. We returned to the hotel that evening, ordered food and had an enjoyable night.
Over the last couple of weeks the 4th years were in full swing planting cauliflower, broccoli, brussel sprouts, and cabbages for next years TYs to harvest.

On Tuesday, 29th April Classics students competed in the 2025 Young Classicist Awards, hosted by UCD. Students from 1st Year to 5th Year went to UCD with Ms McGill.
